Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, is looking for a Graduate Data Consultant to join their team. As the Graduate Data Consultant, you’ll work on data analysis and case management projects, collaborate with client teams to review energy billing data, identify revenue opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that drive performance improvements. If you’re a Maths or Computer Science graduate with a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in SQL and Excel, we’d love to hear from you - apply today!

Key responsibilities for the Graduate Data Consultant:

  • Review client billing and industry charge data to identify variances and potential financial losses
  • Investigate energy data, analyse issues, and implement solutions
  • Attend client meetings, both online and face to face
  • Deliver reports, insights, and recommendations to improve performance
  • Collaborate closely with client teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Process and manage data through in-house systems, optimising it for reporting
  • Support projects by recognising deliverables and contributing to performance improvement
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with clients and internal teams.

Skills and experience required for the Graduate Data Consultant:

  • Graduate in Maths, IT, Computer Science, Economics or similar discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in client-facing interactions.
  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills - essential
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability, with an interest in developing technical expertise.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks and maintain focus.
  • Adaptable and eager to grow within a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Comfortable and effective working independently in a remote setting
NB – You will be required to travel to Manchester / London approx. 3 times per month
