Summary:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Meter Asset Team leader to join an award-winning Energy data and services company. As the Meter Asset Team Leader, you will maintain meter ‘asset’ data, while helping resolve enquiries from internal and external stakeholders. You will, monitor team performance, ensure data is accurate, assist in KPI reports, and propose and implement cost effective solutions to complex issues. You will need experience of leading a small team, working with data and MS Excel, and be proactive in looking for ways to improve performance. Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor performance, improve output and maximise cost effectiveness
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of the meter asset data.
  • Ensure Gas and Electricity metering databases are up to date and accurate.
  • Perform routine reconciliations against information held in industry databases
  • Propose and implement cost effective solutions to complex issues
  • Assist in the production of routine departmental KPI reports
  • Monitor the removal of meters and liaise with companies to ensure that it is recovered
  • Resolve complex queries, reviewing audit trails and liaising with internal/external teams
  • Support colleagues and share knowledge to ensure the continuity of a quality service.
  • Support the creation and review procedures to ensure services are always improving

Skills and experience required: 

  • 3+ years in an operational/customer query/customer facing role, where data featured heavily
  • Team leadership and management experience is preferred but not essential
  • Analytical ability, particularly able to work with and analyse data in Excel
  • Willingness and ability to develop new IT and analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solver, admin and organisational skills
  • Deliver high volume of quality work on time & present info clearly and in an engaging way
  • Articulate, professional, and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Able to have difficult conversations and deliver feedback to improve performance
