One of the fastest growing commercial energy suppliers in the UK, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised TPI Account Manager (New Connections Specialist). You will be operating within the highly competitive SME sector, managing the TPI account, specifically focusing on building a portfolio of partners, delivering New Connection Supply Agreements. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working for an energy supplier building TPI relationships, selling gas and electricity contracts in the SME and Mid-market. - Deliver personal and team sales targets.
- Negotiate gas and electricity supply contracts.
- Manage and develop new and existing TPI partnerships to increase new business revenue
- Managing a renewal portfolio to maximising retention and revenue.
- Develop a personal portfolio of partners delivering New Connections and support the team
- Manage the post-sale processing of New Connections, ensuring timely and successful installations.
- Work with Internal Stakeholders to improve SME New Connections offering.
- Proactively develop and improve propositions with TPIs
- Production of sales quotations and tenders for TPI’s and processing of all sales contracts.
- Supporting back-office functions in providing aftersales support and customer care.
- Monitor/Report on competitor/TPI activity.
- Understand and manage TPI portfolio performance – Live rate, consumption, debt, etc.
- Manage sales relationship plans and provide detailed weekly and monthly reporting.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in B2B sales or Account Management role.
- Working knowledge of the industry New Connections processes, Gas & Power.
- Experience of working within a TPI framework is essential
- Proven ability to manage long term relationships.
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience desirable but not essential
- Understanding of the Gas & Power SME Markets is desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage high workloads and balance priorities.
- Ambitious character with a drive to achieve targets.
- Excellent communicator and expert negotiator.
- Microsoft Office proficient.
